We invite your school or educational organization to participate in the 2026 Aerospace Alley® Future Workforce Opportunities Fair, hosted by the Aerospace Components Manufacturers (ACM). This exciting event is designed to engage middle and high school students, sparking their interest in modern manufacturing and careers within the aerospace industry.

The Fair introduces students—and their teachers, counselors, parents, and communities—to the wide range of well-paying and rewarding career paths available in our region’s aerospace sector. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from over 100 local aerospace companies, gain insight into employer expectations, and explore cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.

In 2025, we welcomed more than 1,400 students from schools across Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Many educators have called it their best field trip of the year!

There is no cost for schools to attend, and ACM will provide free parking for school buses at the Connecticut Convention Center.

Attending on Your Own?
Students and parents are welcome to attend the Aerospace Alley® Future Workforce Opportunities Fair, even if their school is not participating! No advance registration is required for students attending independently.

If you plan to join us on your own, here are some helpful details to make your visit easy:

Date:  Thursday, October 29, 2026
Time:  8 – 11:30AM
Location: Connecticut Convention Center, 100 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT

Arrival & Check-In:

• Parking: Parking is available in the Convention Center garage. Rates are $5 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour.
• Event Location: Proceed to the 6th (uppermost) level of the Convention Center. The Fair takes place in Ballrooms B & C.
• Check-In: Stop by the School & Student Registration Desk upon arrival. No name badge is required, but we ask that you check in so we can track attendance.
• Event Materials: Pick up a student brochure, exhibitor map, and questionnaire at the registration desk.
• Explore! Once checked in, you’re free to explore the Fair, meet participating companies, and discover career opportunities in aerospace manufacturing!
