Horst Engineering
The HORST Engineering Family of Companies supplies a broad range of precision machined components for commercial and defense aerospace systems. For more than 75-years, we have HORST Engineering's core processes include Swiss screw machining, turning, milling, thread rolling, grinding, assembly, and supply chain logistics. We are a full-service supplier and manage an extensive special process supply chain (e.g., heat treatment, coatings, testing).
Our core product families include fasteners, pins, valve bodies, sleeves, bushings, pistons, and many other custom components. We focus on parts 8.00 inches (380mm) diameter and under and within an 8.00 inch (380mm) cube.
We specialize in difficult to machine materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and high temperature alloys. We primarily make parts from bar, tubing, and plate. Sterling Machine (formerly of Lynn, MA) was acquired in 2013 and consolidated into HORST Engineering in 2022. We are AS9100 registered and operate from a state-of-the-art factory in East Hartford, Connecticut.
