Connecticut Aerospace & Defense Conference 2025: Driving Innovation and Collaboration

From November 4–7, 2025, the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford was abuzz with innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking discussions at the inaugural Connecticut Aerospace & Defense Conference 2025. ACM was proud to serve on the organizing committee alongside BCI Aerospace, US Commercial Services, and with the event presented by RTX and supported by the State of Connecticut.

Day 1: RTX Conference Day
The conference kicked off with inspiring opening remarks from Connecticut’s leadership, including Chief Manufacturing Officer Kirti Patel, Commissioner Daniel O’Keefe, Governor Ned Lamont, and ACM Executive Director Jessica Taylor.

Attendees heard from top industry leaders:

  • Ed Dunn, Corporate VP of Global Supply Chain, RTX, delivered the keynote address.

  • Peter Holland, VP of State & Local Government Relations, RTX, presented an overview of RTX’s vision and initiatives.

  • Senior leaders from Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace shared insights on quality and operational excellence.

  • Experts from RTX explored emerging technologies and trends in R&D.

  • Ed Dunn also led a discussion on optimizing the supply chain for the aerospace and defense sector.

Days 2 & 3: B2B Meetings
The next two days were dedicated to high-value business-to-business meetings, hosting hundreds of companies from around the globe and facilitating thousands of connections. Over 50 ACM and Connecticut-based suppliers were on hand, showcasing the depth and expertise of the region’s aerospace supply chain.

Attendees also enjoyed an exceptional Gala Reception at the Pratt & Whitney Hangar Museum, providing a perfect setting to network and celebrate a successful conference. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting productive meetings and meaningful collaborations across the industry.
